Where You Can Sell Handmade Staff

I was searching for online markets where I can sell my staff. Etsy is wonderful place but I would like to have more choices. So here is a summary of what I found.

http://en.dawanda.com - NO listing fee, 5% commission for sales. They are expecting to include listing fee this year. There are 3 language options. Seems more popular in Europe.

http://www.madeitmyself.com -3% commission for sale and NO listing fee.

http://www.silkfair.com - I am not sure about that

http://www.zibbet.com - there is a free account NO fees, but there is also a paid account for 7$ per month including add and promotion. This site is new, but it seems for me very reliable. I will try this one.

http://www.1000markets.com - unluckily it's only for US crafters , because you need Amazon Payment account.

http://www.artfire.com/ - NO listing Fee, NO sale commission

DO you HAVE shops outside etsy? If you like post your link.

  1. Right now I'm on 1000Markets: www.badcatjewelry.1000Markets.com I tried Artfire for a little bit, but didn't get many views. I don't get as many views on 1KM, *but* when people visit my store I've noticed they look at more than one page and are staying longer. On Etsy I had a high bounce rate which meant that people were not staying to see what I was selling.

  2. Thank you for this great post. I will look into the sites you listed. I also just heard of a new one named Storenvy. Haven't looked into it too much yet but plan on it. Thanks!

  3. 1000markets is an option, too. I half-started a shop there, but I'm focusing on Etsy for the time being.
