Christmas was Knitmas

Christmas is gone. There was no snow for Christmas, I am waiting it for New Year's Eve.
Happily I used the wonderful weather for outside knitting and making some pictures. I was doing men winter scarf. The final result is great, it is soft and very warm.

Do you like the landscape in front of the house?
Behind my back is positioned Plovdiv, second biggest town in Bulgaria. Knitting in fresh air is very positive and relaxing, also gives me a lot of energy and good mood.
As I am looking at this picture I can't stop staring into the clean blue sky. It's unbelievable that the picture is taken Dec 25, usually in Bulgaria there is a lot of snow.
What do you think about the picture?

Hello,

Second video is a national song

This video is a Bulgarian national singing mixed with modern sound effects and rythm

Lucky lucky lucky

Today is one more great day, I wake up in the morning and read Linda's message that I am featured on her amazing blog.

She has a wonderful shop for beaded jewelry and beaded wire kippot.

Happy readying of Linda's Bio

Bio

Hi, my name is Linda and I'm passionate about using colors and gemstone characteristics in my unique beaded jewelry designs. I've been beading for about 4-5 years now. I work full-time and find beading to be relaxing and fun. I love color and what the colors symbolize and create one-of-a-kind, unusual designs of handbeaded gemstone and glass pendants, bracelets, earrings, beaded bookmarks, rings, beaded keychains and car mirror jewelry. Also, I enjoy working with you on more conventional custom orders. My designs are for adults only and not for children under 13. If you'd like me to make something for your child, convo me and I'll find safe, compliant beads and other materials to use. My inspiration comes from the beads, colors, gemstone characteristics. I also read Bead Style magazine and adapt the designs to be my own. My husband and cats don't mind my obsession, except when it's dinner time for the cats. One cat, Buddy, likes to help me bead and list items on the computer too. I'm excited to be a part of the EtsyBead Team, the EtsyTwitter Team, the EtsyBlogger team and new team leader of the EtsyChai Team. Please check out my blog at http://linorstorecom.blogspot.com and my Website at http://LinorStore.com and my shop at http://linostore.1000markets.com. I also have other online presences at http://facebook.com/linorstore and http://twitter.com/lindab142. Your positive and constructive comments are welcome. Happy Shopping! Linda B. Featuring me at Helen's blog

Great day! Today I am featured at Heren's blog.
She is very talented artist. I've copied some of here bio ... more info
"I am a full time professional artist who brings a fresh and unique voice to abstract art. I express my artistic vision through abstract expressionism, cubism and other styles.

Over the years, I have developed a Unique Acrylic Pouring Technique™ that animates my explorations of Abstract Expressionism. This technique comes to life when the acrylic paint is mixed with water and, literally, poured onto the canvas, creating free-flowing shapes and forms. Many years of experience and experimentation allows me to control the, otherwise, uncontrollable flow of paint. This unique technique also allows me to maintain the purity and freshness of my colors.

I have exhibited at numerous California galleries and On-line Galleries. My work can also be found in many private and corporate collections around the country and abroad.

Born in Russia, I successfully completed Moscow's School of Art and hold an AA Degree in Graphic Design. I am presently living in northern California where I continue to explore and develop my artistic vision."

Before and after

How important is the first impression?
It is difficult to show on picture how soft and cozy is one scarf. It is not like selling in a street shop, it is online shop. So nothing else is so important as the picture. I needed some time to understand that rule for online selling, and make mistake to open my etsy store with static and not good looking pictures.
I made little collage showing my scarves pictures before and after. What is better? I hope new pictures bring the spirit of the scarf, I want to show that they are really really soft.
Thanks to this lovely girl on the picture for her support. I wish her keep this smile as long as it possible.

One more scarf, one more item for sale

Why don't you put pink glasses, and look the world through them? Everything seems better, lighter and brighter. I hope someone wearing this scarf would feel the same - joy and relax.
Shades from white, through pink ending in dark lilac.
Emotions? Yes, flying peacefully over the world. Let this scarf fly around the world. I live in Bulgaria, Europe - it is waiting for international shipping
I pictured three moments of the handknitting process. First it was a ball of threads, waiting to be used. Then I counted 20 stitches on the pin and started knitting.
I like this yarn very much, it is soft and pink colored.
I enjoy a lot knitting this one, one will enjoy wearing it.

How I make my recent hand knitted scarf

First of all I choose the yarn. It depends of how I am feeling this day. My favorite yarns are colorful with different shades, sparkles, threads, commonly playful colored. They look nice with almost all colors of top wear.
So today I am knitting with very interesting yarn. It is black with little colorful patches looking like flying butterflies and spring garden. There are little sparkling threads reminding me about Christmas gift packaging and all the glittering festive lights.
I am going to make this scarf a little longer, so one who is using it could wrap it over her neck several times. It will keep warm during cold winter days.
Pictures show a stage of knitting process.

My pation - my scarves

For me etsy is something special. It is a pleasure of handmaking my items, a delight of selling and promoting them, an enjoyment of searching and looking at other etsy shops. I like sending my happiness and positive energy, and if I can make even a single man, woman or child happy for a minute, it would be a real treat for me.
My etsy store is
www.nevita.etsy.com
There are hand knitted scarves, made with lots of positive energy and love. I am going to post photos of my ready scarves, and pictures of making them. I hope there are people that like scarves like I do. Let's change common mind that scarves are used only for cold protection, they can be beautiful, cozy, trendy, impressive. Once touching these soft and playful colored scarves, it will make you a little happier.
